SHARESIFT

Cheapest Australian shares ETFs

In short: As of 7 October 2026, 35 of the 798 names screened meet all of this screen's criteria; the lowest fees are A200 (0.04%), IOZ (0.05%) and STW (0.05%).

ASX-listed funds that hold Australian shares — the ASX 200 and ASX 300 trackers and their close relatives — cheapest first. Funds tracking the same index hold much the same companies, so between them the fee is often the main difference that lasts.

Fees are read from the issuers' own product pages — BetaShares, iShares, SPDR, VanEck and Vanguard so far. Funds from other issuers, such as Global X, are not yet covered, so a cheap fund from one of them will not appear here.

What are the cheapest Australian shares ETFs right now?

As of 7 October 2026, 35 of the 798 names screened meet all of this screen's criteria; the lowest fees are A200 (0.04%), IOZ (0.05%), STW (0.05%), E200 (0.05%) and VAS (0.07%). What criteria does this screen use?

This screen keeps only names that meet every rule: ETFs holding Australian shares with a published management fee; At least $100 million in assets. Each is a published threshold on the latest reported figures, with no manual picking. A name missing a figure cannot pass the rule that needs it.
